On behalf of my family I wanted to say thank you for everyone who was able to attend the celebration of life service held in honor of my mother Ricki Stahl this past Saturday. St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Roseville, MI was filled to capacity and Ricki would definitely have been humbled by the wondeful turnout. It was truly a celebration of her extraordinary life. Even though it was hard to get the words out, somehow we found the strength. My wife Mary had everyone in the church waving up to Ricki in heaven, her eulogy was so beautiful and well said. My children Krystin, Kaitlyn, Daniel, Brett and Erin also had some wonderful words and memories to share. I will eventually post all the speeches, including the poems written by Ricki’s cousin Ruth, and those shared at the reception aftewards, on a memorial website. We were all very touched. Thank you for the cards, flowers, kind words, charitable donations made in Ricki’s memory and all the phone calls. Sean Oakley and his team at Stahls’ Canada also sent this wonderful video thanking Ricki for her contributions in the founding and growth of Stahls’ in the early years.
