Katie Dambro of Duo Studio Designs sent us this very hot twill trend, which features CAD-PRINTZ® Perma-TWILL™ on a silver metallic twill background. We think it’s fantastic, especially since it’s the Detroit skyline as viewed from the Detroit River. And we’re not the only fans. Katie says, “It was an overnight sensation! Did the customer print these and then were these also sewn on or just pressed on?
Michaelle, we printed and custom cut these as a service. There is no need to sew Perma-TWILL,(which has a permanent adhesive on it) which was used as the foreground. However according to Katie, the background metallic twill letters were sewn onto the sweatshirt. If you have any more questions or need help, let me know. Thanks for reading and commenting.
Hey Michaelle! Although the Perma-TWILL can be used in a no sew application, I opted to sew both the background and foreground with Madeira Super Twist thread to give it that extra kiss of wow. I finished the application by giving it a a finishing press on my heat press.
