Offering a wide variety of personalization services is a great marketing idea.
A few weeks ago I drove my mother up to her cottage in Grayling, Michigan and I passed a business that I have been keeping my eye on for the last 20 years or so and I was happy to see that it is still in business. The new owner, Brody Robison, who bought the store 2 years ago, was busy with a customer when I called to chat, so that is a good thing! (I’ll try to catch up with you another time Brody!) The reason I took this photo to share with you is because I think that this business is a great example of offering a wide variety of personalization services. I don’t like to use the term “one stop shop” because that is usually a tall order to fill, but in this small town, Brody is doing a great job of offering his customers everything from engraving and embroidery to screen printing. Long live the small business, long live the entreprenuerial spirit and long live Sylvester’s!
