Most Popular Stock Transfer Designs

Looking for the most popular stock transfer designs for the upcoming holiday season? This is nothing like your neighbors who have already put up their Christmas lights or even the tree already. If you have a custom garment business it’s best to be prepared for the holiday season, which is hopefully a very busy time of the year for you and your heat press. I asked Sean at The Wildside Transfers which designs were historically most popular and once again his reply was:

If you’re looking for some holiday humor, stock transfers from The Wildside has many great options, including this best-selling original design.

“Humor sells.” He is very proud of Wildside’s best-selling “nutcracker” design and he alsshared a few other best sellers. You can find all these stock designs and many more ideas, including beautiful Christmas rhinestone t-shirt transfers, Santa hats transfers made of sequins, Santa patches and much more. You will be inspired and ready to start printing those holiday shirts when you see how easy it is. For even more great ideas, download their 2018 Holiday Catalog. Remember, even though these are stock transfers, you can customize them further by adding event names, people’s names or even dates. You can combine stock lettering or CAD-CUT lettering with any stock transfer. If you are looking to create a custom transfer from scratch, the Wildside also offers a custom transfer program.

You’ll find stock transfer images of Santa dabbing and riding a unicorn at the Wildside.

So as you know the Cricut Machine has come out with a Heat Press. I have a friend that orders transfers for her business and purchased a $129 Cricut Machine and it does the same thing. Can you tell me why I shouldnt go that route, vs. the traditional $1250 dollar route and spend 10x more?

    Hello Karri,
Thanks for reading. I’m personally not familiar with the Cricut Heat press but it is probably designed for the craft market user or someone who just wants to make personalized items at home for gifts or possible resale. Hotronix heat presses are designed for professional garment decorators doing larger volumes on a consistent basis. I’m sure that you would be able to get started using a less expensive heat press but once your business picks up you would need to invest in a machine that allows larger print surfaces, allows you to adjust the temperature and also provides proper pressure. There are so many variables at play when it comes to heat printing, especially when you are printing on performance wear. You need to be able to precisely control your time, temperature and pressure. For more information on how to choose a heat press, you can visit the Stahls’ website and download your free copy of the Heat Press Buying Guide. That should answer all your questions. Thank you again for reading and good luck with your research.
