One thing many of the booth visitors we met at the recent SGIA Expo had in common– they were all looking for how-to information and new ideas. And of course, ways to expand their businesses–who isn’t these days?  They came to the right booth, because our heat printing experts were giving live demos and helping people improve their productivity without stopping. (Later this week I’ll be posting another great video of our experts having a lot of fun with the topic of heat printing) But even if you weren’t able to make it to the show, you can still get the how-to information everyone is looking for from the comfort of your desktop by registering for an upcoming Stahls’ TV presentation. What were show visitors looking at?  In addition to huge interest in digital media and full color CAD-PRINTZ, there was a lot of activity around the Rip-Away demonstration, where we had an embroidery machine at work in order to show people how easy it is to get great applique looks. We now have 5 heat transfer materials that can be stitched, “ripped” and heat pressed to create fast and easy applique looks. Click here for a video on how Rip-Away works. There was also quite an interest in “billboard” lettering, also known as “across the shoulder” lettering on long sleeve shirts. To learn how to create billboard lettering with transfers, click here.
