What’s New At Long Beach ISS?

Ben Robinson, VP and General Manager of Stahls’ Hotronix introducing the Fusion IQ at the Long Beach ISS Show.

This is the first time since the Long Beach Imprinted Sportswear Show started…which I believe was back in 1978…that I have not attended. This is the 40th Anniversary of the Imprinted Sportswear Shows! Congratulations to everyone at ISS.  It’s not that I don’t want to be there, but I’m currently recovering from knee replacement surgery. I’m going to be back in “walking action” soon and pain-free for the first time in many years. Truly amazing but still a long way to go. In the meanwhile, I’m able to share some photos sent to me from Long Beach with all of you. As usual, it’s a busy show and the Stahls’ booth was immediately crowded as soon as the show opened. One of the biggest draws was the new Fusion IQ. Fusion IQ is now standard on all Hotronix heat presses. What is it? It’s advanced, wireless technology that provides your business with production insights into job and operator performance, allowing you to make more proactive, data-driven decisions in real time. You’ll be able to track the performance of each press operator and understand how much time it takes to press a garment. With this information, you can adjust your production capacity and eliminate mistakes before they happen. No one else in the industry offers this level of technology–it’s going to be a game changer–especially for shops with high-production volumes and multiple presses. And the presses are ready to ship. Most of the floor models sold immediately. For those of you that are unable to attend this year, like myself, I’ll be posting a recap of the show early next week with more pictures and more feedback from our team members there.
