What’s New from Atlantic City Imprinted Sportswear Show?

Josh Ellsworth shares his heat printing knowledge at the Atlantic City ISS Show.

With the East Coast being bombarded with winter storm reports, it seems not as many folks as usual ventured out to the Atlantic City Imprinted Sportswear Show. I was also not able to attend due to on-going therapy after my knee surgery. But the good news is, I’m doing much better walking around, and I’m back in my office. With team members from Stahls’, Stahls’ Transfer Express and The Wildside all at the Atlantic City Show, I have been getting a lot of feedback. Preliminary reports show that even though there were less visitors, we still had ample interest in Hotronix heat presses and continued the momentum for AquaTru numbers and transfers. AquaTru dye-blocking transfers were introduced in January at the Long Beach ISS show and we are seeing the demand for dye-blocking continue to grow as we head into spring season. So many of today’s baseball and track uniforms are sublimated and they require a dye-blocking transfer in order to customize. Another trend that is continuing to warm up is the demand for metallic numbers. Stahls’ has a variety of ways to heat print metallics, including CAD-CUT heat transfer vinyls and custom transfers. You’re sure to see metallics on some of the teams in the ongoing NCAA March Madness tournament. Good luck to everyone who still has an unbroken bracket–although there have been quite a few upsets!

Looking for metallic numbers this spring? Stahls’ has them.
