You’ve heard me talk about the boom we’ve been seeing in performance wear, polyester garments and the need to be able to customize these fabrics on demand. I recently ran across a fantastic, informative and well-written article in the April/May digital version of Wearables Magazine. It talks about the new rules for selling polyester performance apparel. Kudos to authors C.J. Mittica and Sabrina Landry. Of course you are preaching to the choir but I truly enjoyed this article, and learning more about the impact of polyester on our industry. Christopher Ruvo follows the “King Poly” article with a piece on Decorating Solutions for polyester, covering some of the difficulties in screen printing and embroidery. Heat printing is mentioned, and don’t forget we have a wide range of heat printing solutions for you when printing performance wear. Please take a few moments to review Wearables, if you aren’t already familiar with it. It’s a great trade resource and a very readable and informative magazine.
