James Ortolani Joins GroupeSTAHL’s DFC

Here’s an old photo of James and myself taken at last year’s SGIA show in New Orleans, where I was congratulating him on his acceptance into the Academy of Screen Printing Technology, a well-deserved honor. Welcome to the GroupeSTAHL family James!

We are thrilled to be able to announce that James Ortolani is joining the global ink development team at Stahls’ Decorating Fulfillment Center in Masontown, Pennsylvania. Many of you know him as the former national sales director for Hix Corporation. As the new North American Ink & Process Development Manager for Stahls’ DFC, he will lead efforts to develop leading edge inks for the imprinted sportswear industry. James will also be a valuable addition to our garment decorator-focused educational efforts. If you’ve ever been to an industry trade show or picked up a trade publication you have probably seen his name on the list of speakers or writers. James has over 30 years experience in screen printing and was recently inducted in the Academy of Screen Printing Technology , an elite group of screen printing experts recognized by the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) for contributions and/or advancements to the screen printing industry. A well-respected industry figure around the world, he has written hundreds of technical articles. He was also part of an effort that brought the first commercial screen printing venture to Moscow , Russia , back in 1989. As part of his responsibilities at Stahls’ Decorating Fulfillment Center , James will continue to educate garment decorators at industry trade shows, as well as providing online how-to information in the form of videos and an educational blog. Please join me in saying welcome to the GroupeSTAHL family James. We are very pleased to have you on board and look forward to working with you.
